insulation and closing it up

Last Sunday, we blew in the insulation over the front room. 11 bags and one roll of insulation makes all the hard work of the past 6 months worth it. The house has not gotten below 65 even without the furnace ans with snow falling. Myy job was to cut the bails in half, and feed them into the machine. I also had to press start when Brian yelled go. The pictures are of the blowing machine, the truck load of bails and Brian with his head in the attic. After blowing it all in we put up the last four smaller pieces of sheetrock. This closed it up and now onto the finish work.

Wow. Talk about alot of hard work. Yeah for both of you for digging in and getting the job done. You will be amazed at the money you save on your energy bills. Hopefully you will rest from your "big" jobs for a while and spend some time relaxing with each other.

The holidays will be upon us soon and it will be great to be with family.
