addendum to medic school
Brian has gotten phone calls about the pramedic school issue, and in turn asked me to clarify the issue. We are excited, nervous but excited. We both realize it is a lot of work and life will change for those 9 months of class. But we are also both smart enough to realize that this is a good oppurtunity and that this is something we can't pass up. The norm here in the state of Utah is for a firefighter/paramedic license. Brian has been and continues to be lucky enough to have been employed full time with his EMT. We knew this would come one day. To answer any questions about being an engineer. Yes, that is still Brian's goal. The chief agrees with that goal and wants Brian in that position as bad as Brian wants it. But there are no open engineer slots right now and they need more medics. The way we look at things is as long as Brian can continue to do what he loves for a city and department he loves, we are blessed to have that.
