Adventure #5 the zoo

We woke up bright and early in order to get to the zoo before the crowds and before the heat. We accomplished both. We love the zoo but this was our first time to the new rocky shores exhibit. SOOOO NICE!! the animals look much happier. I asked while there and the next area will the african animals and they will open in 2014. So fun. Aidan loved everything but his favorites were the giraffes and the elephants. He even rode an elephant on the carousel. After the zoo Grammy took us to lunch at momma's favorite spot, Ruth's diner. YUMMMO!
