It is hard to believe that a year ago was when I got pregnant with Aidan. What a crazy and joyus year. But with that milestone I feel the need to clear things up.
In the past year I have been asked what we finally did to get pregnant. IVF, Fertility drugs??? We did none of this. The only thing we did was stop preventing it. That is right, We choose to wait 9 years to have a baby!!! For some reason people assume that we were having issues and couldnt get pregnant. The only issue we were having was feeling ready to take on the task of raising a family.
We are overly joyed with our decision and feel we have been blessed ten fold with it. I know I am a better mom for being older and wiser.
